I'm not surprised that no-one got the Cricket reference since most people here are 'bloody yanks' or canadians and have never heard of Cricket, let alone played it. Mind you, I don't think the English know how to play cricket either...

Thanks for all the greetings, I feel welcome already I've been "lurking" for about a week and just thought it only polite to step out of the shadows long enough to say hi

By pure chance I read about SEIV on the MOO3 site, investigated the web site, along with Galactic Civilizations as that was mentioned too, and ended up trying both demo's. After the first sleepless weekend, I knew I was in love with SEIV Gold!

But then came the shock, trying to buy the game It really is a great game, the best of it's kind in fact! (and I was, and still am really, a big MOO2 fan) I was going to buy from the US, but by the time I'd worked out the shipping costs etc, I might as well buy from the distributors here in the UK... £41.50, which is what... $62.25? Still, it was worth it and I don't care!
