I used to have over-priced DIAL-UP with Mindspring (aka, Earthlink). $22 a month. Had two accounts so wifey could be on at same time. Add another telephone line. Add another account. $44 + $30. Dropped them like a dry booger and got cable for $39. Dropped the extra telephone line. Spent $99 for router (with NAT). Now, mucho speed and about half the price and everyone in the house is on the network.
Of course, I'd still do it just for me.

Re: Olympic SE Challenge Graphic
I was not talking about file size, but about space taken on the screen.

Thought you were worried about size (in KB). As I said, I thought it could be "lowered" and made more narrow. And pulled in from the sides a bit. I just thought, perhaps mistakenly so, that people might like to "wave their country's flag" while participating.
Since it hasn't seemed to garner much enthusiasm, I suspect it will die a slow death anyway.
No biggie.

Re: Olympic SE Challenge Graphic
If you make one for the GM I'll wear it.
I'd say keep it to 10 x 30 pixles.

No way, 10 x 30. Not for all the work the GM has to do. Besides, you're one of the guys who ALWAYS helps games out.

Re: Olympic SE Challenge Graphic
Well, not "always", My involvment in this game was because of the need for a "neutral" GM and I feel I am neutral due to my over all makeup, lack of partisipation in PBW, and my very neutral position in world politics.
I am prepared to die on the metaphorical beaches of my country to defend her. I am not prepared to sacrafice my personal integrity for some number on some harddrive linked to a game that less than 1 in 500,000 Americans know about.
(I have no idea what the real number is but it sounded good to me)
