You can always change the AI for such race - copy all *_AI_*.txt files and change the filenames to reflect the race name. Special care should be taken about AI_general.txt since it reflects the race unique setup. But it is a simple txt file and after some trials and errors you will learn what to change Just don't forget to backup files before doing this

If you want to mod the AIs, you should create a mod folder and copy them all into it. You should NEVER modify most of the default game files.
