Whenever you see the "free AOL CD" boxes, take the whole box... they'll just go and make some more... now CD's are cheap, but eventually they'll go bankrupt trying to make enough trial CD's to meet the demand!

This will keep them in business. Right offs.

So obviously if you had just discovered it after however long it was no big deal, because you had the Gold. You didn't even miss it, did you. So what if it's baked now? You already paid for it again so it doesn't matter.

Hey how's this. Sell the old ver of SE4 on Ebey and use that money to buy the gold?

He already said that it is damaged beyond hope, so selling it on Ebay wouldn't be a good idea.

Write offs only mean you don't pay the taxes...
The people making the CDs would still get paid in full by AOL.

1. Attach disk to dremel.
2. Put on safty glasses.
3. Turn Dremel on High.
4. While at high speed let the disk come in contact with somthing solid.
5. Watch as a hundred peices of cd go flying all over your garage.

No no no no... if you *really* want to put AOL out of business, try this:

1> If you don't already have them, get a CD burner, a scanner and a label making kit.

2> scan a real AOL cd, then use the image to make duplicate labels. You can now produce a stack of *fairly* convincing AOL cds. Most computer-savvy people would know the difference straight away, but then most aol Users (in my experience) aren't computer-savvy people.

Actually, this is almost definitely illegal and could cause all kinds of upset to innocent people (Although you have to admit there undoubtedly would be be a percentage of victims that would be delighted to stumble across a CD of free porn.). That's not the point, don't do it (No, really do it.) Doing this would be very bad. (but you want to, don't you? Go on, do it.) No don't. (Do it) No really, don't do it. (aw, nuts) Or at least if you do do it, don't blame me. (Yeah, that's more like it.)
