DO NOT CALL - loophole

I have seen the start of another way around the list. One of the exclusions is for charity calls. I received a call from the local paper asking me to sign up, and saying that they are having a promotion to donate a portion of the proceeds to charity for each person that signs up. I suspect that there will be many such charitible promotions going on once the "Do Not Call" list goes into effect.

Wardad, be just as sneaky as them. Take a pair of scissors and cut off the small print, then send it in!

I'd be curious to see what happens.

I only recieved the email warning.
I am not sure if it is new hoax.
But, I will be cautious about free offers and contests.

Please send this to all your friends that signed up for "do not call". I think this is just one of what we will get in the future--so READ EVERYTHING before you SIGN AND SEND.

Trust me, the moment this gets out, there will be hell to pay. This is just like slamming peoples phone service. Where if you answer the phone you accept their service. BS.
