Does this mean you've never heard of the Kzinti? They were introduced I believe in an Animated Trek written by Larry Niven. (kzinti are a race in several of his novels) The old Taskforce games Star Fleet Battle and Federation Space used the Kzinti as one of the 6 major races.

the kzinti don't belong in star trek. a race of caniballs doesn't fit in the universe.

Kizinti? I don't remember them from the animated Star Trek, but then again, it's been about 30 years since I've seen most of them. I think Sci-Fi channel was showing the episodes a few years ago, but for some reason I couldn't watch them. Eventually, you know Paramount will release them on DVD, just for no other reason but to make a few bucks. And yes, I'll buy the set when it does come out.

As far as the Federation Space mod, sure, I'm interested. I'll d/l it whenever it comes out. Can't have enough mods. Don't remember the board game, however.
