Yep, my DSL went down today around 1:30. I have already called the ISP and they are checking it out. The telco has a truck in the neignborhood today. Might be a coincidence, or maybe the guy unplugged the wrong wire. More information as I get it.
If you have a game due to process between now and 10:30 PM there is nothing I can do to stop it. I won't be home till then to shut off the automatic processing. Hopefully the DSL will come back up before then and there won't be a problem. If not you can contact the game owner about having the turn set back.

I turn up to work and discover and our entire building as lost power after a huge thunder storm. We finially get everything up and running, and I'm ready for some downtime, only to find out PBW is down.
Looks like it is going to be one of those days.
Ya even our phones a messed up up here. The best connection I can get is 24.0 kbps. Someone please tell me there is hope...
Bad wheather all around and the holiday season is really effecting phone traffic. I actually got a "All channels are curently busy" message twice today just trying to call local and long distance.

Laugh! I remember dealing with the electric company in Cambridgeshire. That was the single most incompetent billing department I've ever dealt with, and the rates were astronomically expensive. They didn't get one single bill right the whole time I was living there.
But yes, particularly recently, it seems there have been many greedy scum in the US utility industry undermining the infrastructure.
