Re: OT - favorite fiction qoutes
If you like goofy terror movies, be sure to buy a card game called "Grave Robbers from Outer Space". Played with the right crowd, it's guaranteed to make you laugh until you're helpless.
The first time we played it we made a movie called 'Night Monsters from Mars vs. Doctor Undead', in which a priest drove around in an old car, taking on various other occupants who invariably died. In the end I think the monsters got him too.

Re: OT - favorite fiction qoutes
You want movie quotes, you just can't beat the new Governor-elect of California. Leaving aside all of the classics that everyone knows from the Terminator flicks, there's this gem from Commando:
Arnie: Hey Sully, remember when I said that I would kill you Last?
Sully: Yeah, yeah, that's right, you said that!
Arnie: I lied.
Sully: YAAAAAAAaaaaahhh! SPLAT!
A moment later...
Girl: Where's Sully?
Arnie: I let him go.
But my real favorite Arnie scenes are too long to quote - the parts in Last Action Hero when he is making fun of himself (and appearing both as himself and as a movie character) - like when Maria is chiding him not to keep talking about the restaurant all the time (this was back when he and some other guys started up Planet Hollywood).

How could I forget this one? It's from Blade Runner:
Wake up. It's time to die!

A nice reference to the Circles aliens and other sci-fi aliens across the ages that have been stopped by the old barricaded wooden door.

I think it was more referencing the more recent movie with Mel Gibson, who stopped being a preacher when his wife died, and all the horrible alien invasion stuff made him gain his faith back... I forget what that movie was called. It wasn't very good.
