Re: OT: Dominions II Demo released
Hrmm... nice game. I may be finally forced into getting a new computer system. 1 frame per second just isn't good enough for those battle recordings.
Ah well... there go the days of tweaking the system over and over to play games way beyond my sys specs.

Re: OT: Dominions II Demo released
Dam, I think I need some glasses.
I thought the topic was Dominos II, and was wondering what it was doing in this forum.
Certainly looks more interesting then Dominos.

Re: OT: Dominions II Demo released
No, I mustn't play this demo, or otherwise I will suffer for the next few months. *Downloads the demo anyway* Now the question is, how to buy this game when it is available.
And yes, the music is impressive, there is quite a difference with the original game. (When you play for a few hours on end, you might convince yourself there was some music in Dominions 1. Or perhaps not)

Re: OT: Dominions II Demo released
Video Card?
I don't need no stinkin video card!
Display Driver for Mpact.
All my drivers should be very much upto date.
But since the current system is something I cobbled together using parts from 3 dead systems, it is the hardware that is lacking.
I have been meaning to get NEW parts and put one together just using the great case I have and the decent DVD and great CDRW drives I have and replace the rest... but cash flow is always the biggest problem. In fact I have sources for all the parts I want bookmarked but in total it will cost almost $700. With student loans coming active for payment next month I can't really afford it.
So for now I shall survive with what I have.
