How does this look compared to the older Version?

I never said it should look exactly like the Death Star... just more like a world than a big ship. And, I will have to second primitive's statement that your other worldship doesn't look very big... make it look a bit rounder and more like a massive ship (like not having a singular gigantic bridge sticking out on top or just two big guns/engines or whatever those things on the side are).

Better to me.

Are these ships asymmetric or is it just a trick of the angle ?

I do not understand your question. The angles might be effecting the intended appearance of the ships but again that is a limitation of the program used to create them

How is this one? Does it look bigger?

Much Better, but I think the "building" on top still could be smaller. Maybe it also could be worth a try to move the camera a bit down.

It looks like a 4 story building on top of the asteroid... if it were 4 stories on a world ship, it would be a mere dot with that sized image. Think small moon. Maybe it could look like a small city on top of that thing?

I like the left one better...

The front "gear" piece looks like the asteroid is phasing through it or something, as they overlap on both the left side of and the top of that one "spoke". Or the top and right, depending on the perspective you look at it from.

I still think you should add many tiny grey structures on the top (or maybe a few ) to make it look more massive. Kind of like how the death star looks almost like a city when you get close to the surface. Or keep it like that.
