OT XP Home Network prob

Hmm well in XP Home u pretty much just click the directory and click on sharing. by default it gets shared to everyone. And this works on the folders not under Program Files and it works on the other computers even with folders under Program Files.

Programs don't need to be installed under the program files folder. Sounds like if you moved it somewhere else it would work just fine.

Yea That's what I think I will do. It's just frustrating not being able to share it as it is. I suspect it's an 'undocument feature' of XP Home to prevent us really dim Users from screwing things up.

(and apparantly a recent 'fix' for XP Home)
