As in, leveling in the Red Dragon Disciple prestige class and gaining several dragon-like attributes (color, wings, horns IIRC), or becoming an actual dragon monster?

well, my memory of it is vague, but i think it was a compliant about someone actually becoming a dragon.

Maybe it was a really high level polymorph spell. I think you can become a balor or whatever those big demons are at really high levels (like level 35 or so).
