Best Game Empire Deluxe Internet Editon
I don't have a worst game because I have only played SEIV and EDIE.

Ouch. At least Civ III ws playable.
[edit: 2 != 3] So? There are a lot of horrid games that are "playable." And besides, part of the problem with Civ 3 is the evil marketing BS they pulled with it, splitting the game into 3 parts so they could milk more money without adding ANY meaningful features in any of the expansions. Civ 3 + 2 expansions at their best almost equal Civ 2 Gold at its worst, save some really stupid things like removing the hit point/firepower system of Civ 2 that helped tremendously over Civ 1. No comparison at all to Civ 2 ToT.

Re: Game of the Year for 2003/Good & Bad
If expansions/mods count, then... Drum-drum-drum... !
The best 2003 game is the AIC mod for SEIV. At least it is the only game I played the whole year

Re: Game of the Year for 2003/Good & Bad
You can't really compare a free download to a purchased expansion... expansions are supposed to add new hard-code features, not just changed data sets.

Sounds like the same way Microsoft develops it's new operating systems.

Re: Game of the Year for 2003/Good & Bad
Huh? What do you mean? XP doesn't seem to be missing many at all features that were in 2000... does some stuff differently, but still has the features. Then it has new ones...
And besides, I got XP Pro for free from MSDNAA that my university participates in.
