'Progressive Metal' is the official label. Dio of course is none other than Ronnie James Dio (of Rainbow and post-Ozzy Black Sabbeth). The lyrics are quite heavy from these Groups (Dream Theater has a 13 min song all about experimentation with Stem cells and whether its right or wrong....) and the guitar work is amazing.

Fyron, in your personal opinion they are not very good. The tone of your post would indicate that you have the Last say in whether they are good or not. A simple "IMO" before stating that none of those bands are good would've done a world of good.

Re: OT - Favorite Music?
From what I'm listening to mostly these days, I think it's a toss up between Raffi and the Wiggles.

A simple "IMO" before stating that none of those bands are good would've done a world of good. That is not true. The very nature of this medium of communication is the voicing of opinion, unless it is clear that what you say is a factual statement, such as the sun is shining right now over my head.
