Go to http://www.spaceempires.net/home/index.php
Then On the Left Navigation Bar Under SE.Net Sections
Content Categories
There'll be a link to the Fanfiction section.

Re: Story Writers Please Read.
I am not sure if it would qualify as being a story, but I ought to mention the Space Empires Galaxies game. The URL refers to the forum, in which you will find some roleplays.
As for the question "Would that be a story?", your guess is as good as mine I gather. *Shrugs*

Re: Story Writers Please Read.
I't wouldn't fall under Fan Fiction in my humble opinion. Just like SE4byc doesn't
Although i'll check if they're under the roleplay site links and if not i'll ask Fyron to add them

Re: Story Writers Please Read.
OK, found it now. Needs to be a little more clearly signposted imho, but just had a little read of some of those old stories:
S_J's capture operation - this is the one that (if I remember rightly) really kicked off fanfic on this forum. It was certainly one of the big inspirations for me to start writing.
RoRhemoraz - What can I say? I remember sitting down to read the enitire thing end to end once- and thoroughly enjoying it. One of the great things about that story is that it improves as it progresses, you can see the author's writing style get better and better with practise.
Xenology - *snif*. Just re-read it and damn it was good. There was real promise there.
War for the Stars- Another epic, and in nice, buite-sized chunks too. Really enjoyed that one, but got left behind. Maybe a re-read is in order...
Dawn of A New Era - Never read this before, but just been through it now and I'm really impressed. Great writing.
The Walkers- I remember reading the first few Posts of this as well, and thinking it was extremely good. Lots of back-story and history, and a really good study of another civilisation.
hevordian- If I remeber that was an ambitious story family and evolving psychics and all kinds of neat stuff. Another one for the re-read list.
NGC II- Never read it before, but I've just looked at the first page and I think I'm going to have to read the rest now.
Cryslonite Empire- Extremely skillful sci-fi, really like (and envy) that one.
Sadly, almost all of these stories are unfinished. What is it with us ppl that we can't finish our stories? (I count myself as one of the worst offenders)
Also, will the original multiplayer collective writing by PBW be going up on this site? I can't remember what it was called or who the writers were, only that it was an absolute epic and the other great inspiration for my own writings. There were humans playing the Norak and Fazrah, I think, and tha Xi were AI, then someone annexed the Zynarra and kicked off a massive war, and it was all just great stuff to read. This was a few years ago now... Does anyone know what I'm talking about, or do I need to stop taking LSD before bedtime?
But still,, thanks to all involved for bringing all these brilliant stories together. Maybe it will inspire some of the writers to complete them..? My KanesS never actually made (or at least, never wrote about) contact with any of the other human players in xenology, so I'm sorely tempted to start a single-player game with those races and continue the story. Or screw the game and just write=-)

Re: Story Writers Please Read.
This is why I went through the trouble of finding all these. I'm waiting for Author permission for the rest, but hopefully we'll have more up soon.
I'm Glad you're enjoying it Dogscoff, I hope more people will visit and see the talent of this forum!
As for unfinished stories i just restarted mine, will have a few chapters up soon
Edit: Dogscoff, if you can find the link to this original pbw story, i'll ask the authors for permission and we'll get it up there
