I don't think John Rhys-Davies would be considered short. IIRC, he was about the same height as Harrison Ford in the Indiana Jones movies. If you saw a short Gimli, it was usually from behind. They only used his face for close-ups. |

Indeed; I don't think anyone would consider 6 foot 1 (185 cm) short.

John Rhys-Davies would make a great Pultmier (sp) if any of the Clive Custler "Dirk Pitt" novels were made into movies.
(Raise the Titanic does not count, that was a horrible movie)
