OT: Tigger Charged With Sex Abuse!

Oops, frantically uses soldering iron to delete the name "General Woundwort" from the tip of a red hot poker, and hastily re-chisels Wardad on it.

Sorry Woundwort, I meant Wardad. I am rather dyslexic when it comes to "wubble-yew" words, and tend to lump you all together.

Wardad, I ate there twice, I had steak the first night, but after a week on steak at pretty much every tex-mex place in Phoenix (what is it about Americans assuming that all us Brits want to eat is steak!!??), I just fancied something a little different, and I had had a really good meat combo at Cooperstown the night before and thought that Monty's might be a bit more authentic.

Everything was good, but the chicken (after three requests for it to be properly re-heated, and not just nuked!) was still pinker than someone from Ohio on a mediterranean beach, and the waiter obviously really didnt like me when the nasty beer in the pitcher was warm (and no, it wasn't urine. although it sure tasted like it).

Basically, they couldn't cope with a customer complaining that the food wasn't cooked properly, and got dead shirty, especially when I didnt leave them a tip and explained loudly to them why I wasnt leaving a tip!

Gastonomic problems were sorted when I got to Flagstaff, and went to a great bar/restaurant called the Whistle Stop or something like that. Good food and great beer (the landlord was English), and as for the fry up I had at the Motel near Canyon de Chelly, marvellous. Best fried chicken I have had outside home - made up for the lack of alcohol.

Whinge moan sob, talking about food is upsetting me. Except for Easter Lunch, I have been surviving on a diet of bad chinese, as the eating choices where I am working is Macdonalds (not to be eaten even if it were the Last thing on the planet) or really really really poor Chinese (so, far, I have counted 13 different ways you can slaughter sweet and sour chicken!!!) - I could even cope with Monty's underdone chicken!
