Maybe the guy consumed fruitcake for christmas, it takes longer than a few months to break down that stuff. Fruitcake is the strongest material in the universe

Yeah, I don't think many people actually eat fruitcake. If they receive some fruitcake at Christmas, they just keep it until next Christmas and gift it to somebody else.
