Went and grabbed the demo, installed it, go to play a single player game, and what do you know, it's multiplayer only. And nowhere in the download description does it say multiplayer only demo. That sucks.

Demos like this should always have a single player option. Multiplayer should be reserved for the retail Version only. The idea is to let people try the game. you shouldn't need multiplayer access to try the game.

There are a few games that have multiplayer demos but at least they are clearly marked as multiplayer.

I'm not a happy camper. So I guess this game lost me as a potential customer.

Nuf Said, Cheers!

The talk I've seen on Slashdot is that the AI for Far Cry is very smart. You can't just sit there and let the 'drones' come to you and get shot. The AI will flank you if you sit still, and can actually play tricks. Sounds like this is a 'next generation' FPS game.

Pirating software in any shape or form is frowned upon in this forum. Please do not post information about pirating any kind of software at Shrapnel. I have edited your post somewhat to this end.

Dr. Who sucks? WEll, I admit it started sucking once they got Colin Baker to play the Doctor. Sylvester McCoy was ok. Hopefully, the new guy will bring the show back to the popularity it once enjoyed.

Piracy is murder and plunder on the high seas, and I don't even own a boat.

Probably shouldn't have said the specific avenue I used to get it.

Several of my friends have bought it because they saw me playing it and thought it looked amazing. Also, it's buggy as hell for me and crashes constantly. If I had bought it, I would have taken it back because of that. But no stores allow you take back opened software anymore.

No point arguing with you. If you wish to deny yourself the simple pleasures of life, who am I to say not?

Thanks David, I may take you up on this. I have to say the first time one of those THINGS jumped me while I was walking across the Tree bridges, I jumped out of my chair. Ohhhh so spoooky.
