Re: The Grudge-Match of Doom - (trashtalk/game progress)
On a more serious note...hey, Alneyan, remember the problems we had doing gifts and trades in the match with Gecko and (Grand) Master B.? Well, it's happened 4 or 5 times now in this game . I don't mind being horsewhipped by you guys but there's no need for the game to jump into the fray as well!
So, how's trading/gifting going for you guys? Any similar problems?

No such problem this time around. Do you make and accept trades as the very Last thing in the turn? I am not sure if you should add something to the default message or not though.

I made sure we did them the way it worked between us in that game. I go through the entire log first...moving ships, looking at fly-swatting, checking retro-fits, etc. Then I accept the trade. Then I work on production. SO, I put the answer (that I never change the text on) in the middle.

Thought the trade bug was fixed in 1.91
Changing the message don’t seem to cause any problems. Since the trade bug was discovered I have always made sure any diplomacy is the absolutely Last thing I do before hitting F12. Never had any problems since.

Maybe we could get Joachim (or Geo) to rerun the turn offline and try to figure out whats going on.

While I'm happy to try, I suggest getting someone who knows what they're doing - ie not me!
Can you trade Primitive?
