Re: FQM Gas Giant Sizes
This is not specific to the topic, but I've noticed that FQM Deluxe's nebulae pics are kind of pixel-ish, perhaps from resizing etc. If you have photoshop or a similar program, try to use a blur and it should fix that right up. I've done it with a few with good results.

To all those that play FQM (especially the Deluxe Version), would it, in your opinion, have negative effects on play balance if all gas giants were to be doubled in facility space?
|
I think it's a good idea. Then players would have to choose between "quality" and "quantity".
However, make sure that the gas giant player doesn't start out with homeworlds filled with twice as many facilities as everyone else.

Which ones specifically? And how would one go about de-pixelating them?

Re: FQM Gas Giant Sizes
Actually i was doing a search for Nebulae pictures on google for an image and a lot of the ones simmilar to FQM Deluxe came up, and they are't the best quality there.
As for Gas Giants, hmmm, it's a good idea i just can't think of a way of blancing it.

Most of them. Like I said before, all you need to do is use some sort of blur tool (like the blur filter in photoshop) on the entire image. In fact, let me just do it for you. It takes only 5-10 sec per image. I'll find you Online later...
