Re: OT: other Shrapnel games
Haven't tried it, but a long time ago, I spent many hours playing the game it was based on "M.U.L.E." I have been debating buying it.
How much is SH like MULE?

What is Dungeon Odyssey like? It must be good because Aaron created it... has anybody played it?

Re: OT: other Shrapnel games
Well, I did all the graphics in Dungeon Odyssey, and gave the game a 'retro' look. So it's like returning to the past and playing one of your favorite RPG's
I myself enjoy Dungeon Odyssey so I would recommend it to anyone who likes games like Rogue, Nethack, Angband or any other 'Roguelike' game.
Cheers!
P.S. I love that the PC Gamer review said that the graphics 'look-retro' and are not up to par with today's standards. Since I set out to make the game look 'retro', unknown to the reviewer he gave me the ultimate compliment. LOL
P.P.S. Kamog, there is a demo available, download it and give it a run. (Although the patched Version of the full game has many added features that make the game even better.)

From the demo I played, it's kind of like a poor man's Diablo. Not saying that in a negative way, but the graphics weren't anything compared to today's 3d wallet-busting games. Other than that, it's the usual explore the dungeon, slay the monsters, collect the treasure type of game.
Not that I've had the time to play them, but I've bought Star Fury, Colisseum, The War Engine, and a couple of others. I just don't have the time I used to have to play them, however; heck, I haven't even opened up the War Engine yet. If I can get in a couple of hours of SEIVG a night, then I'm a happy camper.
