Thanks, that was a typo, not a spelling error. I used my Win2k system to post that right as it crashed.

THe HD failed do to heat issue. God I hate AMD with a frickon passion! The system runs so damn hot that I cannot keep it cool. Hard drive after hard drive I have lost because I cannot keep the system cool even with four fans running on it.

So ditch the AMD and stop buying new HDs! Or, get a large table fan and stick it next to the case, which would be open on both sides.
