42, married, 1 kid & another "in the Build Que".
Retired USNR Chief Petty Officer, 8 years active (in submarines), 12 years reserves.
Currently an electrical engineer working in industrial controls.
Been playing wargames & reading science fiction since I was about 12 (or 7, if you count toy soldiers and "Space Cat" books), computer games since the C-64 was the premier gaming platform. I mostly prefer 4X and other "grand strategic" games where I can live out my fantasies of absolute monarchy (anybody who is married can tell you what a fantasy that is  )

just want to update this post with all the new people on the forum. This is an interesting post and makes everyone feel more at home. This is the most friendly forum I have ever been on. everyone goes out of their way to help each other.

27(I think). Software engineer working in an arospace company in souther California. Loved SE3, love SE4. Can't find enougth time to play thoug. Married, kids, dog, cats, birds, fishes....
