There are perhaps 15-20 new itemsm a a significant portion of them artifacts. One big change in general is that most resistance items only provide partial resistance to elements, the exception to this is rings that still provide full resistance.

For some reason the artifact "Pocket Lich" sounds very disturbing...
Do you guys have some syndrome with these "pocket" things?

Just don't put your Pocket Lich in the same pocket as your Pocket Knight or you might lose your, err, Pocket Wyrm.
