Re: **** EA
Maybe you should use the communication mimic on the Phong from every race, why should they miss out on all the fun!

Re: **** EA
How about this one for you;
There is a destroyer that was built by the colonials, I captured it with crew ins from the AE. I gave it to the ukraTal as a gift in trade for a trade pact. In somehow it ended up back in the AE fleet (the ukratal have no pact with the anyone but me and they are at war with the rage only) and I just retook it from them with crew ins. again. This crew just can not make up their mind who they want to fight for.
(ps there were 18 races in this game when it started. now there are 14. I captured 2 in a prior war and conviced a neutral that was somehow at war with the AE to surrender to me upon first meeting them.) I am not sure who the cappa are fighting as I have yet to run across any of their ships so they are still unkown.)

Re: **** EA
Dracus, you have one heck of a game going. I usually don't go through what your going through because I seal off my empire.
Since your wars are getting very confusing to me, all I can offer are two things a great emperor once said:
"If they will not accept peace from my heart, then mabye they will accept peace from a stellar torpedo."
"If at first you don't succed, nuke'em, nuke'em, nuke'em."
I said that by the way. I'm nice, but very agresive when provoked for no reason.

Re: **** EA
Funny thing is that, This is the first game I have played were most every race is at war with most every other race. It is also the first time I decided to use the peace for 10 years and to go into effect after 20 turns for a victory condition.
I play with no trait points for myself, gave the AI's a medium diff level. I did not quick expand. Once I ran across the boarder of another race, I would pull my ships back and mark the area as void. (To prevent the colony minister from going there. This is the only minister I use.) I did not build nor reseach weopons beyond small troops until the first contact (Up to this point I only researched colony techs and planet resource techs), that is when I began researching ships and weopons. I never scrapped a ship nor retro-fit one. I personally like having the old models flying around still. (I still have the first escort I built, we call her grampa. She has been assigned to take out colony/transport enemy ships that sneak out of the war zone and any rebel planets in the empire).
Not sure if doing these things helped in setting up this galaxy wide conflict.
But also not using tricks that the AI can not handle also seems to have helped them out alot and has made the gameplay lot more fun.
The war continues with no one gaining any ground.
;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
Game settings 255 systems (using my system names file.) The Mod pack, My events file,
Only added the Colonials at setup, let the game random pick the rest. High AI/High Neutrals, High chance of events occuring, not special traits fro myself. AI set on Medium diff with small bonus. victory conditions after 20 turns---peace in galaxy for 10 years.

Re: **** EA
That "victory conditions come into effect after 2 years" will not affect the game.
Peace means that every surviving race has at least a trade alliance with every other race, and you're not going to even meet everybody else in the that time, let alone make peace
