I posted new Versions of both AI files in the Mod section.
They contain major modifications of the ship designs/construction and some changes in the planet selection and facility contruction.
No modified components are needed and I tested it with SE IV Version 1.35 and TDM-ModPack.
Any feedback is wellcome.
Will definitly have to check these out! Hmmm....wonder what happens if I install these midgame??......nah, time to start a new one

Q, I'm currently working a lot on AI for "standard" races. I like much of what you've done with these races. Do you mind if I update them for the new tech in my mod and use them for my mod? (DevnullMod)

Not at all. I am glad if you can use my files for your porpuses.
Just to raise a little bit of interest:
At my current test game the modified Phong are first of 14 races with a score of 629k compared to the second empire (united floral empire) with 439k. The Piundon are third and the modified CueCappa forth.
I included also the original Phong AI in this game for comparision and they are only on place 12.
The modified neutral empire of the Kithra (Neutral 003 AI posted im the mod section) perform also quite well: they heavily mined the two warp points of their home systems and are now quite secure from intrusions.
