Jourin

I retired from the Army after 26 years about 9 months ago. I was a Cobra pilot...spent over 10 years in the Air Cav at various locations. Although having been in the 1st, 4th, and 17th Cav Regiments..never been in the 1st Cav Div. The Sabre21 I use was my callsign in Korea back in 92-93. I have had others..some not as endearing..hehe..like Troll..i'm still called that by a lot of my old friends. I also did a tour as a ground pounder before flight school in a recon platoon with the 82nd...so over half my career was in the Cav.

Mav - my bad, I got mixed up on the names. Langly was an old collier and the Saratoga and Lex are as you say. That is what I get for rattling off a bunch of crap while sitting at my desk at work and doing two other things. Just trying to point out that the Jap carriers at Midway were a hodge podge mix and that there really was no standard carrier air wing since their ships were so different.
