that clears up a lot of confusion for me... still doesn't help me much with indies... I STILL get indy provinces in the middle of indy provinces with 11 defenders at strength 7 :/
11 militia mind...

ah! just had a thought... I suppose province defence forces are probably somewhat based on the province (golly who'da thunk it lol) and so small wasteland types probably have small forces even with high indy strength maybe? hmmm, more food for thought... at this rate I'll get a fat brain
