i've wrote out a chequeand sending it to Strategic Plus Software tomorrow. I know this game will be relatively expensive but i think the gameplay will be as good as starcraft and will be replayable for years. It be a week untill the delivery arrives, right at the start of the half term holidays..perfect timing.

I have used them twice - including buying DomII - without any nasty surprises. So they seem kosher, and the customer service also seems excellent. For example, I got a prompt reply to my DomII order informing me that DomII was unfortunately sold out for the moment, and the exact date when they expected to get it in stock again. On that day I got a second email informing me that it was indeed in stock and that they had mailed my copy, which arrived the next day. Little things, but they do make a difference.

Never had a problem buying on the internet.
But you better get used to it, as for PC games..The writing is already on the wall, you'll find less and less games in standard distribution channels and more and more throught direct sale/download.

Strategic Plus are as kosher as you can get - I've bought dozens of titles from them and visited their shop many times in the Last 10 years. I bought dom2 direct (and just got a 2nd copy too

).

I don't have any connection with SPS, except for giving them lots of cash over the years
