Well, the problem wasn't that I couldn't get it to run. It started just fine with a double click. What I didn't get is that you have to specifiy the "path to .trn file" like this:

C:\Games\dominions2\mygame\mynation

Then I didn't know how to actually use it. It took a while until I figured that you have to load and save right before you hit "host". And you don't even have to quit the game to load an older turn. To load an older turn from within the game, hit end turn, load game, go back to game.

Maybe this is useful for somebody else.

I use it all the time, without any Windows exceptions or other problems. Reading the above, I'm not sure exactly what your problems are, but if you give more detail, maybe I csn help figure it out

is also the source of your code avaible ? Or did you have some notes to share with us about the format of the files ?

I need a quick way to understand, from the .2h and .trn files, which turn them refers and which maps
