Why isn't my avatar updating?

it's a few bytes more than a kilobye: 1,036 bytes

The problem was that when I updated the link, it made everything lowercase.

The link was http://www.azbanjo.com/argitoth/Pictures/Shrapnel.GIF

But shrapnel kept changing it to this when I updated: http://www.azbanjo.com/argitoth/pictures/shrapnel.gif

I realized this because I'm just that intuitive.

And the #1 thing I hate about asking for help: people always giving stupid answers, I don't want to name names, but oh... here's one, "Arryn".

Now Arryn, is it nice to be mean to me when I did nothing wrong to you? Wait, I can answer this one. That would be a no. So get off my damn back, seriosly. I'm tired of your harrassment.

Look, if you don't want people to offer suggestions, don't ask for help. Considering what information you'd supplied, Arryn's suggestion was quite reasonable. A little far-fetched and unlikely, perhaps - but far from possible; and without more knowledge about the particulars than you'd given, it is hard to give concrete advice. Listing a handful of "might be the problem" is the best help you could get.

You're not being polite.

Oh, no one was giving stupid answers. Just Arryn is being a real pain lately and has been consistently harrassing me making cracks and comments about anything he can think up.

I can't see that Arryn was being anything but civil and helpful in this thread. If you see anything else, let me respectfully suggest that the problem might be with your eyes, and not with what is actually there to be seen.
