Re: MP Game - Orania Semiblitz
OK, I'll stop the game and create a new one under the name "Orania_Fast".
EDIT: OK, the game has been re-created under the new name. Please upload your pretender again. Note the new port number.

Re: MP Game - Orania Semiblitz
An anonymous person has uploaded a pretender for Ulm. I assume that it's not Graeme, who claimed Ulm here, nor any person that reads this thread.
I don't think it would be fair to sanction gazumping the position, since reading this thread is not a requirement for playing the game.
My sympathy goes to Graeme, however, who I'm sure would have made the point about VQs with convincing force. Maybe this anonymous guy will too.

Re: MP Game - Orania Semiblitz
A pity, really. I was hoping I'd get the opportunity to give Graeme a firm drubbing despite his VQ, thus demonstrating the invalidity of his claims.
I would, however, firmly suggest that you go ahead and sanction the gazumping if the offending player does not identify himself. Anonymous, nameless players that post nothing in response to the game invariably are the same people who will AWOL.

That may be true. But the fact remains that the player may not read this board at all, reading this board is not a requirement, and the mosehansen site clearly forbids gazumping.
Although I would like to do this, for the same reasons as you, I don't think we have the right.
