Actually the entire purpose of the PNG format is to have lossless compression. Avoid JPG at all costs! Also, don't listen to David Gervais when he chimes in to tout his JPG compression algorithms... they still have some color loss.

BTW Fyron is right, there is a slight color loss when I save a .jpg, but by giving the 'color and saturation' priority and choosing 1x1x1 instead of the 2x1x1 default compression, the loss is about 0.025% If that's not good enough I feel sorry for you fyron. (FYI: Perfection is an illusion easilly influenced by spiritual beliefs.)
