, I figured you had the same kind of passion for some "full tech madness" as I do. It's a good "break" from the KOTH "One-world starts with no tech" games that are too monotonous (you know...research mines, research PD, get some DUCs, etc.).

And, taking a look at the KOTH board, I see we DO have a chance to play (depending on your ability to swat your challenger).

So, the challenge is accepted as I know you are darned good at this kind of game and I'm looking for a challenge and fun...and I know you can supply both.

Now, all we need is a host...I'll ask Geo if he has time. I'd like to have someone edit the map to make sure we aren't beside each other.

I can host if you like.
Medium spiral? Surely a Geo balance map would suit the all and nothing better?

Thanks, Joachim, for offering (once again) to host. Geo answered and said he'll post it.

I considered the Balance mod but since we will start with all colony types, I thought it might be a bit much having 12 mediums in every system to colonize

Heh, thanks Parabolize from forcing me to go with the "reasonable" choice.

(Where reasonable means "not getting involved in *any* more SEIV game)

I wasn't sure who was to be first or second so I will leave that up to what you guys decide and what order you join in.

Thanks for the hand in the map and game, Geo. I lucked out again against Parabolize (who made quite the change in his approach to the game). It took over 70 turns, though!

So, now, another challenge (since I seem to be the only one using this thread...gotta keep it active...

I'll accept any challenge from any rated player for any settings (except mods). Gotta find something to do since KOTH is moving slowly and Anklebiters even slower

It's gotta have a turnaround of at least 48 hours. First one to apply (assuming anyone does).

I have one open spot for rated game. I would like it to use Adamant mod. Other than that i can play any settings. Any takers?
