YC,its Mind Hunt,costing only 2 astral pearls.
Together with at least 1 penetration item,I get a minium of 13 penetration value per caster ,which is compared to Magic resistance.Then 2 six sided dices are thrown for both and added to each number.So its possible to kill even Sc`s with over 20 MR,when you are very lucky.
Note,that the spell doesnt work if the opponent has an astral mage in the province where it is aimed on.
In this case,the caster gets feebleminded and no mind hunt is done.
Your Sc`s all were lacking the Amulet of Magic Resistance,in addition to the magic scale we both have(subtracts another 1 from MR),so that Mind Hunt was quite effective indeed

As much as I'd like to pretend I have a chance in this game, if we were playing with a reasonable 'victory by provinces' limit, you would have already won, Mardagg. I think I will play a turn or two more then call it quits if things don't start improving.

The Marignon AI is playing quite well ,thats why I was not able to use some of my special forces against Ulm so far.
I already killed or undead mastered around 300 vampires permanently in the Last 3 turns and now the AI surprisingly starts fielding masses of decent quality staff,like fire snakes and mechanical men.
The best he could do,since Vampires proved to be very ineffective,because all my armies there had been well prepared against this type of unit.
But its only a matter of time until I can throw much more armies against you.
Btw,Fiends of Darkness are the nightmare of Vampires!
Each has two magical attacks and in connection with Rush of Strength,this is killing lots of vampires in no time.
Just a hint for further games

It was well faught, but you were just rediculously bad-*** and was able to just sit and grow forever because the people around you were wusses.  Hehe..

It was great fun.
Special thanks to Cainehill aka Stonehenge of Man.
I dont know If I would have been able to win this game,without Man fighting until the bitter end and killing many Ulmish and Celestial beings.
Vanheim did never wage war in this game until we attacked Ulm(which we were forced to,otherwise Ulm would have probably won).
Interesting to see,that you dont have to expand aggressively all the time to be a mighty nation,as long as you are magical strong and can use the peaceful time to grow stronger and stronger(in my case:1-2 EQUIPPED Tartarians per turn )
I will sent a message to Ironhawk,to stop this game...as far as I understood,all did agree now to this?
