Yeah, I expected to start geting gems of all kinds other than astral and blood, as the description leads you to believe. But then when it said it absorbed over 300 and i didnt get it, I was just like WTF?

heh.
as i recall, all non astral gems used in the previous turn are summed up, then converted to astral (at a two to one ratio), then you get half of them. I think that's it.
if you are unhappy w/ the huge astral income boost this gives, please just don't cast it  |
