I've decided on the money limit being 500M, and the tech limit being 6. There is no crew limit for the first Space Wars.

Heh, I had the same plan a while back. I abandoned it because I thought it would be too hard to GM.  Good luck, I may join you..
Happen to know of any openrpg stuff that helps with Warships?

6? I thought you had decided on 7?
The rules file (which was freely distributed by Wizards until they canned Alternity) that this will be based on can be acquired here:

Ack, sorry, meant to place 7. Must have hit the wrong button. I'm planning on starting it this saturday, so... There might be a way to adapt the rules to squares, or I might can turn openRPG and use hexes.

Cool. I think I'm going to have to postpone this, though, its going to take a while to get enough people  . If you would give transparent minuatures, that would help a lot.
