Re: Building the RagTag Fleet
Hahaha... LOL!
Good one Nodachi.
I know someone who designed ALL Lego blocks in SolidWorks and mode a nice buidlingplan for a model he himself designed. He send it to Lego and got a job as kitdesigner. It was his lifedream.

Re: Building the RagTag Fleet
Well, it's not much of a model but that wasn't really the point. AT and the others who use DOGA produce some amazing results and it always seemed to me to be disrespectful to them to call DOGA a Lego builder.

Like any good engineer I played with it since I was a child (I still am... playing with Lego and a child, hehe).

Re: Building the RagTag Fleet
The thing is, if your models don't come from one of the "Known" programs like 3ds, they are considered second rate childs endevours and looked down upon by the industry people. Its like they are insulted that a $40.00 program can out do their $6,000 one.
It doesn't take a doctrate to learn how to use DOGA, but it sure as hell seems like you need one to learn how to use 3ds or other.
