invade a planet with no pop?

Yeah, it seemed to work fine when Dinesku took my planet with no population, then my satellites wiped it out, in the Junkyard 24XX game

"slag it"? what does that mean?

i might not have the latest patch, i've not played SE for about 6 monthts until this game. i think i have 1.84 or something.

slag = the leftover junk from smelting ore

I.E. destroy it, reduce it to rubble.

i tried and i couldn't. it said 100% destroyed... but it was still in posession of my evil enemy. wierd.

That's not the latest patch - the latest is 1.91.

Someone is a bit too happy with a flukey victory over a Crazy Romanian, I'm sure your empires news reports were more forgiving Ed

Bone: I've had that error a few times where the planet wouldn't be destroyed or damaged... I found if you just attacked again it would work again.

i attacked about 10 times over 2 turns.
then i gave up.
i'll try it again tonight.
i'll also look to see if i have the latest patch.

thanks for all the help. i need to get this evil enemy (responsible for many deaths of my peeps) gone from this system in the most ruthless manner possible.
