I think the usual procedure with patches is to first have them undergo extensive beta testing. I don't recall any comments from any beta testers that the patch has been released to them yet. I'm expecting this to be known as the game with No Intelligence for quite some time (of course I hope I'm wrong).

Gack! NOW you tell us! Yeah, a new wife would put a crimp in your computer time... In fact, wives and computers seem to be natural enemies. I wonder if we won't see a considerable drop in the over-all rate of programming for the future, not just a 'temporary' slow-down.

Oh, well. two or three betas a week was nice while it Lasted.
