Re: Stargate SG1 - Season 9
I've only recently seen the previews, and I'd have to agree with Atrocities for the most part. Course I won't be seeing any of the new season any time soon, on account of my not having cable or dish. I only get to watch reruns.

So that unfortunately means the 21st celebration is postponed to... sometime around mid- to late-August. I just look at it as a way to combine belated birthday celebrations and moving parties

Hey, my Birthday is in late August. We'll have to celebrate together.

Hmm... Claudia Black back for more?! GREAT!!
I have a very big poster of her in my office. She's a very nice piece of nature. I wouldn't mind having her around for real.

Re: Stargate SG1 - Season 9
I have been watching this show for to long to stop now, I have to see the end of the story. This season or the next will be the last, but I am all for them going for a few more seasons. Once they hit ten it will be the longest running scifi show ever beating X-Files. At I think 11 seasons it will be the longest running show ever besides game shows and things of that sort, news, game show, etc.

Not so. M*A*S*H ran for 11 years. And Bonanza ran for 14 years. The all-time record holder, though, is Gunsmoke at 20 years.

At 20 years and 633 episodes, the longest-running American prime-time drama TV series to date. (2003)
(And James Arness holds the record for playing the longest single role as the star of that series, Marshall Dillon.)
I wouldn't be surprised to see The Simpsons hit 20 years, though. It's already the longest running animated series at 16 years.

Kelsey Grammer equalled that record (perhaps even overtook it). James Arness reportedly, from Grammer's own mouth, was bitter about losing his record and refused to even meet him.

Re: Stargate SG1 - Season 9
They'd better not kill off Carter!
Same with Teal'c, he's got some awesome lines and delivers them perfectly.
Daniel: It’s not meant to be taken literally, but we have seen a lot of legends and folklore have a strong basis in fact - Avalon, Atlantis…
Teal’c: The Easter Bunny.
Daniel, Mitchell pause, look strangely at Teal'c.
Daniel: I guess there’s a few exceptions.
