				 steller manipulation, planets - minister
 Hi
I am playing with the star trek mod, and I have 2 ships with the ability to create planets out of rocks, and I set them to minister on and then on the empire > minister screen I selected steller manipulation, but it just seems to do nothing,

 what have i missed?

 Thanks

I have no experience with the ministers, having never used them, but I would assume they are flawed since the notoriously bad AI runs them. You may be better served by directing the ships to the asteroids yourself, then selecting Stellar manipulation (the sun symbol on the bar) and creating planets yourself. |

Stellar manipulation is one of those things that you don't want to take chances with.
Search out the asteroids with the highest values to make planets out of first, and arrange to have colony ships already en route while the SM ship is doing its work.

Re: steller manipulation, planets - minister
I fully understand what you are saying, it is just with the star trek mod, there are so many rocks, that what I used to do on the normal unmoded game as a stratagy was to build tons of system destroying ships, warp ships, and others, then I would open warp hole there, close all other warp holes, destroy the system, then in comes my ministered steller manupilation ships to create planets out out of all the rocks as it takes to long otherwise.
and it worked GREAT! I never set a ship that can destory a system or anything like that to minister, but whats the worst that can happenw ith these, they create a planet in a system i own?! (i set to not go to restricted systems)

 Thanks

Hmm...What about the design type? It might not be recognized my the minister.

Do you have any other components on it that may confuse them, like cargo space -> transport ship?

The ship is basically on star trek mod, the biggest ship aloud with tons of shields and armour, and repair, extra supply storage, along with the planet creater device,
 that is about it
