Damn! To top it all off, apparently I sent in an old .2h file...shoot, what a time to have a stale turn...arghh....kill me now...end the misery...

I didnt even intend to fight you in that battle, that was just my independent capturing army. I think the reason you died was:

raise skeletons is a good spell for taking indies it is a bad spell for fighting another opponent. Your pretender was exhausted instead of buffed by the time he had to fight. While my mages may have been ARGUABLY worse than yours, they were casting much better spells.

Thats just my two cents

I can't get on either. You should send a PM to the game's owner to make sure he knows about the problem, since his nation has already been defeated.

Yeah, I can't get on either...I'd email my turn to him if I knew who to send it too...

I talked to king lear on IRC and I emailed Mose. New turn and I cant connect to it either.
