That's a good point. If we really want SE5 to succeed, then we need to be prepared for a lot of new players to the game - and, if this is THE forum for SE5 then it will need to be ready.
However, I am not sure this will be the official forum - given that Shrapnel will not sell SE5, I suspect that whichever company does will have an official forum - which may very well be less rigorous (in terms of friendliness, intellectual level, maturity, etc...)...
But, really this is all sort of premature...and I do sound a bit arrogant in the above statement...I am reminded of the truism that every generation thinks the newcomer generation is composed of losers/slackers who didn't suffer and grow like they did....so...nevermind! Progress is progress.
