That's a wussy game for people who suck at hunting.

We play "shark", where the person who is "it" tries to catch the others... the shark has to get a 2-second hold too. But you don't have to say anything. Stealth is good. Splashing a bit of water to make noise away from yourself or towards the other "fish" helps keep you alive too.

Note:
For a faster-paced game, the shark is allowed to open their eyes underwater only. The fish then use bubbles for chaff.
Note2: Goggles are total cheating. Without goggles, you can't focus in water, so the shark can only see vague outlines a couple meters away.

Its quite fun in a round pool, where you can make either a whirlpool by running around the edge before you play, or set up a big harmonic wave.
A good harmonic wave in a 4-meter diameter pool can make a cool 1-meter high spike of water in the center.

LOL. I would hardly call hunting a sport now in Canada... well bow hunting any ways is still a sport.

harmonic waves are totally cool. the crest of the largest one I ever helped make managed to fill the nearby hot pool with luke warm water. the ladies weren't too pleased.

I was at a water park in colorado once. They had a wave pool there that was shaped like a mushroom. The wave would come down the stem part and into the half-circle part, bounce off the rounded wall and converge back in the middle with about a 10-12 foot spike of water. Fun place to stand.

That would be Water World. when I move next week, I'll only be 20 minutes from it.

yes, that wave pool is awesome. They now have an even larger one, and the wave spikes at about 20 feet.

Cool, it's been about 15 years since I was there. Lot of fun.
