Re: Wraith Crown
Golems, immortal commanders and commanders wearing the Slave Collar(not sure about this one) will never rout in friendly dominion. Immortal troops will rout. I suspect golems that have become troops, rather than commanders, might also rout or dissolve.
Circa one patch ago, the Wraith Crown was unique in that its autosummons never caused a rout if they were killed. I'm not sure if this was intentional, if it was reliable, or if it is presently true, but it was definitely a plus at the time. To the furthest of my knowledge, no other summoning/enslaving items have this advantage, not even the reanimating Twin Spear or the Tartarian Chains.

Re: Wraith Crown
try giving the hero a skeleton charm as well, and churning out more longdead every battle round.
the wraith crown is essential on my Army-of-one assassin armory. the crown, plus the fenris skin and wolf stone, lifelong protection and the lantern shield. your choice of boot and single handed weapon. (I prefer the death oriented twin spear, either the flight boots or the stone boots)
of course with the fenris skin, you are auto-berserk, and wont rout no matter what

Re: Wraith Crown
but with the fenris skin i thought u couldnt cast as you were berserk? i lvoe the pelt and if you could cast (or can) my boots choice would be boots of quickness, if you cant then i would use something other than the pelt and use an amulet of resilence for reinvig while raising more skeletons

Re: Wraith Crown
If the critters don't break morale, they don't rout : if they don't rout, they don't affect the commander. That's one way Zen's balance mod made a lot of pretender chassis's more viable, by giving the auto-summons morale 30, meaning they never route. If they all die no biggie : it's only when they route that the SC has a problem.

Re: Wraith Crown
The Slave Collar only gives a +5 morale bonus, so it should not matter with routing and things of the like. I gather other mindless commanders also never, ever, rout? (Gift of Reason, or the Souless obtained through Army of the Dead, if memory serves)

Re: Wraith Crown
well, the wardrobe with the fenris pelt is designed more to maximize auto summons in battle, you don't give skeleton charm to that one, but skeleton charm to a normal commander with the crown... that goes a long way
