Second round is better, not sure which is the front and which is the back. Maybe tapering the center "nacelle" might help.

Very blocky.

Whoop, didn't see the update. Second round is much better; only problem is that weird engine glow. Other than that, it's good.

Well the side with the long end sort of seems like a natural front to me what with the gunports there and all.

And yeah I am working on adding some depth to the gunports now but anyway my ships are inspired by this:

Your second edition is a great improvement on the first texture. Good job. Now the ship looks and feels like a ship and not so much a machined piece of metal.

and my comment on the ship looking like a 'tool' was aimed at the texture and not the shape.

I just looked at your second edition again, and I really like the improved texture.
