I grew up in a soda area and now live in a pop area.

 Pop over here.

 | Yes Narf, we know. But you have to spell it "sheild" for it to work in the tags.

I grew up in Wisconsin, with the exception of 4 years in Minnesota. MN was hardcore "pop", but I found that "pop" and "soda" were used almost equally in WI. The "pop-sayers" were mostly in the rural areas it seemed, or the people raised there, whilst we city-dwellers mostly used the term "soda."

And let us not forget the freaks in TX ( ) who call anything fizzy a "coke." Silly monkeys.

 | It is just FREAKISH how exactly right that map is! And then if you click on Wisconsin, it lists it by county. I grew up in Kenosha County: almost 50/50 - pop/soda...

Freakish, and entirely amusing.

Re: Any One Like Soda Pop
I like diet sodas, not just for the lack of calorie, but they just taste better. Regular ones always leave an offputting aftertaste, like acid or bile, Diet coke, diet pepsi, and diet big red are my favorites. And caffine free sodas(that were supposed to have caffine, except diet caff free big red) all taste like piss, I dun no why... |

 | Now that is an interesting map. Someone has way too much time on their hands.
I am in the 50-80% pop area in Indiana (White county).
