The SEIV Deluxe Load Screen Sucks

I hate the load screen for SEIV Deluxe. I'm probably just anal, but it annoys me. "Why?" you ask. Well, because given the relative positions of the things in the picture its just not possible for it to look the way it does.

None of the shadows on any of the planets are the same. The blue/green medium sized plante has light coming almost straight down on it from the perspecitve of the cameral angle. The small grey moon looks like it might possibly actually be receiving light from the star in the distance, and the large yellow/brown planet looks like the light hitting it is coming from up and to the left. (You can see the terminator line moving diagonally from the bottom of the screen to the right of the screen near the "IV" in the game logo, ignore the shadow at the bottom as it is impossilbe for a terminator line to be there on a planet and is most likely there as a result of the game buttons.)

So, does this bother anyone else? If you never noticed before, does it now that I pointed it out? Anyway, just thought I'd vent since it annoys me every time I load up the game now. (Which is quite a lot.)

I do agree that the 1.94 image is not that great, but more because the 1.91 with the killer Eee was so much more interesting than any artistic concerns.

I've edited the good old EEE vs Jraenar one with the Deluxe logo from the patch one. Perhaps I'll post it one day.

Well, I like the new intro screen. I did like the old SEIV gold screen even better, though.

...the thing that is mildly annoying is that Strategy First logo that always comes up when you launch SEIV deluxe. That logo appears to have some sort of writing inside the circle but the lettering is stylized and I could never figure out what it says. It seems to say something like "I love LLL" and every time I see it, my mind tries to figure it out. It's getting frustrating because I don't understand what it says and yet I can't avoid seeing it all the time.

Do you know what it says inside the logo?
